When it comes to city history, another factor of our PerfectCity Charter concerning the Future of our Cities in terms of City Architecture one question came up: What actually is the oldest city which is still inhabited?
We have to narrow the term “oldest city of the world” down to "continuously inhabited city" because the colonisation of cities started around 10000 B.C.E. and some cities do not exist anymore or rather exist just as archaeological findings and records. To be one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities there must be evidence to show that the city had been constantly settled by a population of more than 250 for the entire time since the date shown.
