On Forbes.com I found an interesting series of articles, a special report called Twenty-First Century Cities. This series is generally about the future of our cities and includes and discusses topics such as Slums, Megacities, ubiquitiuos security cameras in our cities, and more. In my opinion, the articles “In Defense of Sprawl“, which deals with high-density living, and “Ghost Cities Of 2100“, which is about cities that could disappear in future - here you may find some thrilling new findings. For example, the capital of the small West African nation of Gambia is endangered by sea level rise, whereat Detroit (USA) is constantly shrinking as a consequence of population flight and unemployment.
Very interesting special report! Check it out.
